twelve (+) years performing contemporary church music.
Drum / Percussion influences
Some of my drumming influences are from
Alex Acuna, Dave Weckl, Dany Gotlieb,
and other drummers.
Toto (Jeff Picaro), Kansas, Gloria Estefan, Basia, Sade, Madonna,
CCM artists such as Crystal Lewis, Burlap to Cashmere, as well as current Rock/pop songs are significant groups
making up my current music style.
Jazz, Pop and Latin are main style I like to perform.
Theatre / Musicals
This year, 2022, we performed the Lightning thief musical (Percy Jackson Musical). Guitarist Dave Cousino and Bass player Vinnie Marshall were two of musicians I know who also performed in this two week show run. Dean Marshall played piano, Rob Schumann played 2nd Guitar, while Conductor Dr. Charles Larkowski directed the musical.
In 2018, I performed two musicals,
“Tarzan” [Percussion] (Columbus, OH)
and
“Wizard of Oz” playing drum set.
(CoveDale Theatre, Cincinnati, OH)
Performances
I performed R&B Music with SaVon Bass
(Singer -Band Leader), in the Cleveland, Ohio area
during the
2020- 2021 Pandemic
(Congas & percussion).
Performing with Samantha Carlson (Jazz) and Kelsey Mira
(Pop/Rock/Jazz) add to performance background.
Currently, I am teaching Snare and Drum set lessons at Guitar Center (part time), working on a Jazz project and writing music for Film / TV,
Collaborating on a song project, and performing in the Ohio area.
